FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

While each situation is different in the amount of time and other resources needed to complete an evaluation, Saoirse Psychological Services, LLC offers evaluation services beginning at $180 per hour.
We do offer some services on a flat rate basis beginning at $1000.00.

Currently, do not accept insurance.

There is no set time for evaluations. Sometimes we need more than one appointment to gather all the information and complete assessments.
We reserve two to three hours for a first appointment and will schedule additional meetings if needed.

The best preparation for evaluations starts with your phone consultation. During that call, we will discuss what it is you need and in turn, what we need to produce a quality report.
We typically ask you to bring several documents with you to an initial appointment. Though each case is different you can generally expect us to ask for: school records (IEPs, accommodation letters, diplomas, report cards, etc.), medical records, prior mental health treatment records, legal or military records, and a list of current medications. We encourage you to bring documents you think will be helpful.

Dr. Sheehan is a skilled evaluator and clinician. She was trained in various treatment modalities and while she is not currently offering therapy services, she will in the future.

Often your psychiatrist may recommend you see a therapist or psychologist to support your current treatment. We enjoy working with our medical counterparts to help you achieve your goals, so while you do not have to see a psychologist, some people find this support to be beneficial. If you are not sure, ask your psychiatrist or medical provider.

In therapy, our clinicians use a variety of therapeutic interventions and modalities. Our most used therapeutic styles are cognitive-behavior therapy, reality therapy, dialectal behavior therapy, mindfulness, and trauma informed care.
Your therapy is as unique as you are and our highly skilled, well-trained clinicians focus their skills to help you in the best way possible. This is YOUR treatment, we are here to facilitate and help you along the way.
